HanBuddy & buddies

Guests with their licensed tour guide buddy at Jamsil Stadium

What is HanBuddy?

HanBuddy is a platform that connects travelers and foreign residents in Korea with local buddies. A buddy is a Korean local who hosts a small-group experience and goes with you.

Who are the buddies?

Korean locals who host in English. So far they are our own team and licensed tour guides. Our team checks every buddy and partner before they host, and a new buddy’s first experience is always hosted together with us.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Guests come solo, as couples, and with friends, and everyone sits together.

Do I need to speak Korean or know the sport?

No. Your buddy explains the rules and teaches you the cheering songs as you go.

How do I pay?

Online with PayPal when you book. If you would rather pay another way, such as a Korean bank transfer, tap “Need another payment method?” on the booking page and message us.

What is included in the price?

Each experience page lists it. For game nights it is the match ticket and stadium food.

How late can I book?

Bookings close 24 hours before the experience starts.

What if I need to cancel?

You get a full refund up to 48 hours before the start, and 50% between 48 and 24 hours. If your buddy cancels, you get a full refund.

On the day

I have dietary restrictions. Is that a problem?

No. Write it under Special Requests when you book, and your buddy plans the food around it.

Where do we meet?

The meeting point is on each experience page, and we confirm the exact spot by message before the day.

The best way to meet us is at an experience.

Pick a date, book your spot, and your buddy takes it from there.
